so today dennis drags me out of the house to buy this crazy keyboard for his home office. let me show you what it looks like:
what a mouthful. anyway i am writing this post to test it out and see if i would like one.
here’s what microsoft had to say about it :”Given the time you spend with your hands on a keyboard, investing in the newest addition to Microsoft’s best-selling line of ergonomic keyboards can pay dividends in greater comfort. According to some studies, ergonomic keyboard designs, such as the Microsoft Natural line, have been associated with significant reduction of carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. Rest your wrists against the plush palm rest in a relaxed, natural angle with this keyboard’s curved key bed, ergonomic arc, and reversed slope. Apart from comfort and support, enjoy quick, customizable way to reach files, folders, and web pages with handy hot keys. For close-in tasks, use the Zoom Slider, located in the middle of the keyboard, to zoom in and out with the touch of a finger.”
it is actually quite cool lah, with the zoom function and the curvature of the keyboard. i particularly like the “back/forward” keys which allows you to go back for pages on the web. and the base of the keyboard has some sponge-like cushiom that reduces the pressure on your hands. but it looks like an awful spaceship– and it takes up too much space– in my opinion. i dont like the split qwerty part. mayne its cos i didnt learn to type the proper way so i dont use all 10 fingers to type.
my own logitec keyboard is pink, as is my USB hub. i also have a pink razer mouse, courtesy of my friend, clare-bear.
and for some strange reason, we had alot of trouble finding this Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. the shop we eventually found it at was saying how this is the classic ergo keyboard, and its true not many shops carry it.
ok! i just wanted to take the spaceship for a ride. not bad!
