getting into the groove of things

this day is a beautiful day; with the rain on the panes and the perfect day for snoozies and languid lullabies. (lullabies. who would have thought the plural for lullaby is lullabies. surely its not pronounced “la-la-bees”, is it? that made me laugh a little.)

this is not going to be a gripe post, because all i’ve been doing in gripping (pronounced “gripe-ing” or “gripp-ing”? (hehe)) about how i’ve got the blasted AFA test this friday (which i know very, very little) and my much much need-to-be-done-or-i-cant-grad report due on the same day or the law of confidence.. exam on the following thursday, followed by the slew of meetings for AFA presentation the following monday; and the very probable slew of meetings for AT presentation that same wednesday.

where’s the fun in reading a blog like that?!

but today, despite the mild panic and the sleeping bug that bit me resulting in waking up at 12 then falling asleep by one, only waking up at 3 plus, to drive to clementi (to drop off a precious pea, and photocopy something) and back, i feel like its a good day for concentration and work.

cooper is sulking over the rain. (probably; wonder what goes on in his little doggie mind–(what’s mango doing now? oh there she is, sleeping by my tail. ooh cat! shall i bark? wonder when dinner is. what’s mango doing now? oh there she is, sleeping by my tail. i shall sleep too. what’s mango doing now? oh there she is, sleeping by my tail. what’s mango doing now? oh there she is, sleeping by my tail. shall i wake her to play? she doesn’t want to. ooh car. the other dogs are barking. what’s mango doing now? oh there she is, sleeping by my tail. )

i’m getting into the groove of things; hopefully this lasts.
